This plane is similar to the Lie Nielsen but it lacks tilting handles (you will whack your knuckles repeatedly if you use this for cleaning up timberframing tenons)
It also lacks the cross grain nickers for clean cross cutting. Fit and Finish are not comparable to the Lie-Nielsen, but neither is the price.
The No. 10 Bench Rabbet is nearly identical to a No. 5 Jack plane, but its sides are left open and the iron is shaped to cut flush with the side of the plane. It can create rabbets or raised panels from scratch, and it's very handy for planing flush to adjacent surfaces. Traditionally used for cutting lap joints on house siding, carriages and boats. 12-3/4" long, 2-11/16" wide iron.
